Loyalty Cashback

What is Loyalty Cashback?

We have partnered with leading retailers in order to give you a range of savings when you use your ALTO card. When you use your ALTO card in one of the participating shops we give you something back! No registrations, no forms, no deadlines, just easy to earn cashback with your ALTO card.

How does it work?

To gain access to these great savings all you need to do is use your ALTO card to pay for your purchase. From there, we do the rest. There are a wide range of shops, including everything from DIY to electronics to jewellery and you can save between 4%-10%.

When you buy something from one of these shops we automatically know that it's eligible for cashback and we collect the money from the retailer. Once we have collected the cashback we put it straight back onto your ALTO card. Once it's on your ALTO card you can spend it anywhere you like, but why not use it at one of the participating retailers to earn even more cashback? There are no restrictions on how much you can earn and no restrictions on where you can spend it. We calculate your cashback based on spending from the 25th of one month to the 24th of the next month. Any transactions that are settled in this period will be included in the cashback calculation and will get paid to your ALTO card on the 30th of the following month, subject to a minimum cashback level of £1.

An Example

Let's say you do a bit of DIY, buy a new TV from Comet, and get a jacket from Debenhams between the 25th January and 24th February; We collect this cashback from the retailers and on March 30th we put the £26.20 back on your ALTO card. It's that simple! You don't need to send anything in, you don't need to fill in any forms, you just need to make sure you use your ALTO card when you make a purchase.

Frequently asked questions?

It doesn't cost anything! You can access these savings for free just by using your ALTO card to make your regular purchases.

We only put the cashback on your card once it reaches £1. If you don't earn £1 of cashback in one month then it rolls over into the next month. So, if you only earn 50p cashback one month, it will roll over into the next month and if you earn another 50p we will then pay £1 to your card.

If you have earned a minimum of £1 cashback in one month then you will see a transaction that says "Cashback Payment" in your account. The amount of cashback you have earned will be shown there.

All calculations are automated so if there is an issue please email us at cs@altocard.co.uk and we'll do our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Once the funds have been transferred to your card you can do whatever you want with them. The cashback that you earn is exactly that, cash. You are free to spend it wherever you like.
